Waiting Words
Dinner, Boxing, & Inhalation
What do you get when you cross National Lampoons Vacation with three tweens?
Waiting isn’t “Giving” 🤣
Suffice it to say, there was a slight mishap with my family’s first restaurant choice.
Hence, a bit of a wait, and the gen-alpha candor 🫠 .
At least they didn’t break into a fight over a crumb like these mice!

“Lightweights in London”
Ironically, the prize photograph took immense patience to capture. Sam Rowley actually spent several nights lying on the floor of different Tube stations trying to capture something unique!
Could curiosity drive patience? It may be something to think about the next time you take a deep breath to reset.

Researchers at Israel’s Weizman Institute of Science discovered that individual breathing patterns could identify people with up to a 96% accuracy!
I likely registered a rushed “breathprint”while in traffic the other day. Thankfully, I was patient enough to investigate what was delaying things on I-95. The police entourage for the famous Spanish football club "Real Madrid”! Awesome. I didn’t mind slowing down once this curious turn revealed itself 😅 .

“Curiosity wades through murky waters.”
What’s murkier than waiting? I’m not sure. But every time I slip into frustrated impatience, I get convicted. The scriptures say “Love is patient.” Yikes! If God is Love, He is patient.
I’m convinced He is also omnisciently present. How so? That’s where curiosity, which connects to the awe wired in our brains, comes into play. Psalms 145 reads, “There is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds You.” Perhaps the wait is simply an opportunity to encounter God’s mysteries.
Here’s to a revealing week, no matter the delays 😄 !
