It ended with a governmental release of classified UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) reports. My mind linked the two with Jordan’s refrigerator art.

I was not at all surprised about the content on the government site.
Many videos showed illuminated spheres zig-zagging through the skies with physics-defying velocity, as if from another realm. Interestingly, a mysterious discovery of a sphere happened in Columbia last year.
This sphere allegedly gained density after it crashed, indicating anti-gravity potentials.
For today, let’s consider that simply by observing something we change it. Taking it a step further, I’m convinced that praying with imagination opens our minds.
“Space Trilogy”—Science Fiction books by C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis wrote these prescient books in 1936 after a challenge from J.R. Tolkien to write science fiction. A coin toss led to Lewis tackling space travel, and Tolkien tackling time travel. Tolkien ended up with “Lord of the Rings.”
Yet Tolkien’s greatest challenge to Lewis happened before the science fiction. Lewis, an atheist, insisted that Christ’s life, death, and resurrection was simply a myth.
Tolkien countered that all pagan myths were undergirded with truth. That truth? The incarnate person of Christ. All other myths were simply a dim reflection or distortion of Jesus. Lewis soon believed.

Back to the UAP spheres. Leonardo DaVinci, a prolific student of optics and light, painted Christ holding a crystal orb. It has the twinkle of 3 inclusions in it. But the orb is see-through, like glass. Physics rules would require objects seen through it to appear distorted.
Is this a rare occasion where DaVinci didn’t align art and science? I doubt it. Rather, I believe he was respecting the miraculous Christ: the incarnate God who entered time and space to save us.

There’s a density of unusual, otherworldly phenomena in the scriptures.
What are these UAPs? It’s a mystery. Yet no question is off limits to God, especially under the protective wings of Love. 1 John reads, “God is Love.” I’m convinced that Love is the greatest force in the universe. If we approach any encounter with Love, there is power.
One of my all-time favorite verses comes from the books of Romans (8:38-29/NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
May the truth be in our hearts and may we imagine through the lens of love. 😃
