Sight Words
Grass, Genius, & Extremes
Happy almost February! Is this a piece of bark or heart? ❤️
“What do you see?”
There’s often more than meets the eye. In the grass, and within the grass!
Sometimes reality resides beyond our perception.
SOMETIMES WE SEE WITH SUCH INTENSITY THAT HORIZONS EMBED THEMSELVES INTO OUR PSYCHE. AFTER JUST A 2O MINUTE HELICOPTER OVER NYC, ARTIST STEPHEN WILTSHIRE RECREATED ITS SKYLINE. WILTSHIRE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM AT AGE FIVE. IF GENIUS RESTS IN A GLANCE, HE’S THE PROOF.
SOMETIMES OUR VISUALIZATION CAN LEAD TO UNPRECEDENTED FEATS! SNOWBOARDER HIROTO OGIWARA JUST CRUSHED THE WORLD’S FIRST EVER 2340. THAT’S 2340 DEGREES, OR 6 AND A HALF TURNS, IN THE AIR!
PURPOSE PAINTS A MIND’S VISTA.”
The eyes are connected to the brain. But is your brain connected to your heart? And, more importantly, what is in your heart? What do you see in others? What unseen do you sense? What future are you imagining? In Ephesians Paul says:
“ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened…
in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.”
May your sight recognize the heart around you, and within you, this week! 🤍
