All this went down last week when Jordan arrived at volleyball camp without her phone. She didn’t even care about that as much and ruining her “Snap Streak”. It’s a thing for Gen-Alpha on SnapChat. Streaks are simply ongoing conversations that must happen at least once every 24 hours. That’s why I had to get directions on how to continue it. But, oops! I may have accidentally sent a photo of “Thunder” to her ENTIRE contact list🤣 !
I like streaks. They’re very James Clear, atomic habit-ish. Winning streaks in sports are most common. Snoop Dogg is hoping for some of that soon. He just became co-owner of Swansea Soccer Club.

Better a dog bite than a streak of mosquito bites? But that negative streak may end with a streaking laser!
Speaking of AI, a new “RizzBot” named Jake is zipping around the streets of Texas. It’s known for its running streak of Gen-Alpha slang compliments.

I’m still partial to thoughtful words from real humans. I love writing. For the last two years I’ve posted an original quote on “Threads” every day. Whew! But you get better as you go. I post a photo and quote each day.

2. Focus on the passion and your “why”!
3. Celebrate the small victories.

So what are you choosing consistently? In the scriptures says, “Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23) TPT
The catch is that it’s tough. Streaks require disciplined intention. I’m just convinced the benefit is worth it. Even the Lord’s prayer says, “Give us this day, our daily bread.” We are designed for relationship with our Creator. Even just one verse a day. One prayer to God each morning. One extra, intentional thank you to a friend. It all builds! Have a consistently awesome week ahead! 🙂
