Agility, Improv, & Innovation
ESPN called it a “Houdini act on multiple levels”…
Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss’s quarterback, razzle-dazzled with an epic 362 yards and 2 touchdowns at last week’s Sugar Bowl.
His scrambles, evading blitz pursuit, are now high-insulin-level legend. Chambliss infused an improvisational reggaeton choreography injected with sheer, fast-twitch athleticism and mental finesse to pull it off!
The best scramble of the night, though? When Chambliss sprinted to console opposing quarterback Gunner Stockton after the game. What class!

“Authenticity”
If you ever play a golf scramble with me, you might need a good dose of sportsmanship, and a helmet too. 🤣

😅 “Process”
By the way, you’ve still got time to scramble on down to the new TGL Golf in its second season. The brainchild of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods combines simulated indoor golf with the traditional, in-team play. SoFi Stadium is right down the street from our station, and games are all on ESPN.
PLUS, THIS JUST IN AS I WRITE:
SoFi Center will welcome the WTGL —a womens’ league from the LPGA for the ‘26-’27 season!

“Links!”
There’s just something different about “mixing it up”. Leonardo DaVinci sure did. Imagine reversing each letter throughout 28, 000 pages of notes. The left-hander’s mirror writing reduced smudging, challenged the status quo, and perhaps slowed down his process for more precision.

Making deliberate changes or avoiding “triggers” can scramble negative noise in the mind. Killing familiarity can ignite breakthrough. Check this out. Spies use it.
“Nonconformity can yield concrete growth.”
One of my favorite scriptures is from Romans: “Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (12:2/NIV) Trinidad prays with his mom before each game. Teams on the golf course become “iron sharpening iron”. DaVinci blended science with art, and transformed observation into imagination. And, by the way, I’m convinced every time you read the scriptures it’s like a mirror into your soul.
In fact, the mirror script of Aleph(the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet), spells Peleh backwards. Peleh means miracles, wonders, and marvels. May we all scramble uniquely this week! 😄
