What happens when Hurricane Season meets Shark Tank?

Kevin O’Leary hit the Florida Governor’s Hurricane Conference to help his son Trevor. Trevor O’Leary, along with his MIT friend Charlie Nitschelm, just founded “Uplift Microhome”. It’s basically an off-grid, self-contained home that plugs in, fully functional, (electric, water everything!)—like an i-phone!

The idea sparked through an extensive foundation.

Once pen hit paper to sketch, renderings and vision started shaping practical build.

Innovation requires outlook. Case in point…
Even this, likely required a sketch at one point. The renaissance idea of “disegno” is drawing or writing to work through one’s inner, inventive capabilities. It’s certainly used in “The Great British Bake Off”. Artist Tom Hovey has rendered each season’s creations.

Meanwhile, the cronut, developed by Dominique Ansel, just turned 13. Ansel melded a French pastry with a fried American donut, by developing a completely new dough.

“Creativity collectively coalesces.”
The scriptures speak of patterns fused into practicality. God instructed Moses: “Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.” (Exodus 25:8/NIV) This command is reiterated at the end of the chapter, “See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” (25:40/NIV) This referred to the tabernacle to house God’s presence, the Ark of the Covenant, and the Lampstand.
Yet, fast forward to Hebrews, and it speaks of a divine dynamism that Jesus writes into believers. It’s an entirely new concept. “This time I’m writing out the plan in them, carving it on the lining of their hearts. I’ll be their God, they’ll be my people.” (Hebrews 8:5/MSG) I’m convinced Jesus is saying: “get to know me. I’m the Living Expression to follow.”
Jesus can draw heaven’s signature into our earthly innovation.
