I believe we can all land our days like this. I’m convinced it’s a matter of gratitude over circumstances.

I love how the scriptures characterize this kind of attitude. Galatians says, “Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” Here’s what I’ve learned. It’s not about where somebody else is. It’s about where you are. It’s not about what somebody else has, it’s about what you have. If you compare, no bueno. The focus becomes distorted.
Use others to inspire and motivate, as opposed to complaining about your lot. Find the amazing within the constraints. Life is not routine! It’s an expressive experience. If you’re open? There’s beauty in disaster, awe in the everyday, and hope beyond what we can see.
