Rebound Words
Gutters, Refs, & Predators
My daughter’s Nike Air Force 1 went rogue. For some reason she tossed it into the air to impress friends. Now it has a new home in the top gutter on the roof of her middle school. WE NEED A REBOUND!

“The remaining shoe/Reenactment 🤣 “
Maybe we could get some FL Gator “March Madness” stars to help us out…
The “Final Four” ballers are averaging a 50% offensive rebounding rate, a high-octane key to their wins. They’ve mastered the glass and rim by an aggressive determination to grab the ball and TRY AGAIN! That’s rebounding.
“GO GATORS!”
19 year old Jakub Mensik sure mastered the art of the metaphorical rebound. He defeated his idol Novak Djokovic in tennis at the Miami Open. But Mensik almost pulled out of the tournament altogether (missed shot). A referee at lunch saved him! Check it out!

Is communication a form of rebounding? You’re misunderstood and bounce something back again? I guess we could ask sharks. It turns out they aren’t so silent after all.
“A REBOUND REFUSES TO RELINQUISH.”
I am convinced that we can rebound our thoughts. When I’m writing, sometimes an idea passes so fast, I’ve gotta be intentional and grab it. If not it vaporizes. Plus, if an idea doesn’t gel, you’ve gotta rework it for another shot.

“Mindful Jumping”
When I think of rebounding, I think of waking each morning. If our heart is beating, we’ve got another chance to go for it. Life requires action. Don’t just lob up a shot and let it go. Get gritty. Get intentional. The ultimate gift awaits. Micah 7:8 declares, “Even if I fall, I will rise; the Lord is my light.” Even if you’re down, you’re not out. Have a great week! 😄
