I was a Pi Beta Phi at Ole Miss. We had a verse that served as our motto: “TOTT”, we called it. It stands for “think on these things” and it comes from a verse in Philippians. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is EXCELLENT or praiseworthy—think about such things.” I’m convinced that inner excellence comes from elevating our thoughts, and aligning with the Spirit of God within us.
