Dino-Turk Words

Writings, Drawings, & Enigmas

Get your popcorn ready! You’re not cooked…

“Not me (blooper LOL)”

YOU’RE STILL BREATHING THE BEAUTY OF ANOTHER DAY! Just happens to almost be THANKSGIVING 😄

“Spread those wings of gratitude!”

Enter the “BOOK OF TURKEYS AND DINOSAURS”. The author? Jordan at age 4.

“Hands & Feathers”

Beyond Jordan’s imagination, the cool thing is that turkeys actually ARE dinosaurs. They possess a genuine Therapod lineage. The T-Rex cousins have retained “primitive” dinosaur traits, things like three-toed feet, over the years.

A new species of “mystery” dinosaur called “Enigmacursor”, made a debut at the Museum of Natural History over the summer. Scientists uncovered its fossil at the Colorado’s Morrison Formation, which used to be a vast network of rivers and floodplains. The slight dino used its speed to dart away from danger. In fact, “Enigmacursor” means “mystery runner”.

Reflection can reveal. The present unfolds in the context of a vast history, constantly running forward. If the cursor is the present, the enigma of the moment can unlock with thankfulness.

“Gratitude’s momentum builds through time.”

If you look back at Jordan’s Dino-Turkeys, she traced her hand to draw them. It reminds me of a scripture. Proverbs 8:14 reads, “I hold in my hands living-understanding, courage, and strength.” (TPT)

The outline of your life is feathered in God’s hands. I’m convinced the choice to open up to purpose, rests gratitude. Paul speaks of the mystery of Christ in Colossians. He exclaims, “Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light.” (1:12/TPT)

“NEVER FORGET”

THANK YOU! I’M PRAYING FOR YOU. HAVE THE MOST WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING 😁 .
