Continuity Words

Bounces, Blooms, & Beacons

How can something with such an inviting name be so painful? “Warm Vanilla Sugar” almost took me out a few days ago. It’s my daughter’s “Bath and Body Works” room spray. As I hurriedly tried to spray her room, I hosed my right eye with the stuff. It turns out the “sprayer opening” was tilted in a weird direction!

“Non-Scents-ical”

Alignment matters! Take tennis, for example. Hand-eye coordination is a lifeline, especially in doubles. Reaction time must be so fast and precise. I witnessed this firsthand at the Davis Cup in Delray Beach. The USA Mens Doubles Team of Rajeev Ram and Austin Kriejcheck showcased a mastery of dexterity in their win.

“Ram with the Winner!”

Clean shots calibrate continuity. Just ask 82 year old golfer Matt Lerner. The South Florida local hit two “hole-in-ones” on the same round at a club in Wellington in July! The odds of that happening are 67 million to one…

“Rare Trajectory!”

Integration also elevates environments. In Japan, they’ve developed blooming carparks. Not only do the beautiful canopies create space and shade, but they clear away dust and stormwater.

“Creatively Cool”

I’ve observed that when we line up our actions for good, we expand our energy into “oneness”. Musical genius illuminated the Vatican over the weekend at the “Grace for the World” event. Andrea Bocelli described the experience.

“In the coded, yet crystal clear language of art, and in the universal remedy of sung prayer, we glimpsed the indomitable strength of goodness.” Andrea Bocelli

“Unity is symphonic movement of purpose.”

Sandra Shaw

The scriptures read, “The Lord is my might and my melody; He has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2 TPT)

How do we align with grace and goodness? We grasp it. The Psalmist writes, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever.” (Psalms 107:1 NIV)

All of us navigate a fallen world. Yet, I’m convinced that Jesus proved Bocelli’s “indomitable strength of goodness”. Good isn’t the trajectory of a bullet. Good is an eternal neural pathway connecting to the Spirit of God. When things seem off-kilter? Coordinate with gratitude, order with purpose, and encourage with good. Hope kills the death of possibilities.
