We got the axe-throwing game and this prized Sonic Pickleball Racquet there!
No pickleball was actually played on the beach, but this comedy did just drop! “The Dink” is on Apple TV, featuring Andy Roddick and John McEnroe!
“Creativity collectively coalesces.”
I see this in all things. We are created to evolve, innovate, and discover as we grow. Sometimes it’s “axing away” at something. Sometimes it’s reconnecting. Sometimes it’s even a rescue.
The scriptures relay an account of a floating axhead. A bunch of prophets under the leadership of Elisha were chopping down trees on the Jordan. One of them lost his axhead. It flew off the handle and sank in the river.
“The Holy Man said, Where did it sink?” The man showed him the place. He cut off a branch and tossed it at the spot. The axhead floated up.” (2 Kings 6:6)
It’s all there. Sometimes we lose our head in all the effort (where are those plates?). Sometimes we struggle in the swim (cute wallaby). Sometimes we eat cake like thin-air protein (the branch magnetism). And sometimes, when we humble ourselves, an unexpected dink floats right up.
