My week started with this friendly reminder on a run…
“Fluidity…”
I headed straight for my favorite: Coconut Water.
Did you know it’s an exact match to human blood plasma in electrolyte composition?
And check this out!

Our body is an atmosphere!
This friendly gopher tortoise absorbs hydration from the grass.

And while the tortoise gets hydrated from Earth’s habitat above ground, it actually engineers an entire ecosystem underground. The tortoise’s architecture becomes a shelter that also serves as home for hundreds of other species of animals. It’s a often a refuge during drought and wildfire. A recent gopher tortoise burrow was measured at 65 feet long, 26 feet deep! Vamos!

“Bana”
Underground certainly isn’t always a choice. In the ruins of Warsaw, Wladysaw Szpilman built a new atmosphere when confronted by a German officer. The Nazi commanded the pianist to play a dusty old piano. He chose Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minor. The emotional depth of his playing captivated the German, who not only spared the pianist’s life, but hid and fed him until the end of the war.
Sir Edward Elgar expresses music’s atmospheric power. “There is music in the air, music all around us, the world is full of it and you simply take as much as you require.”
Yet there’s more. Claude Monet’s Impressionism emphasized atmosphere over object. His art focused on the living, interpretive soul of the observer and the unity of cosmic phenomena—light, air, movement, emotion, and interaction.
Today’s sunrise reminded me of Monet.
“Eternal dawn…”
“Elemental profusion invites infinite interaction.”
The scriptures continually emphasize how love builds. Jesus says “Heaven’s kingdom can be compared to the tiny mustard seed that a man takes and plants in his field. Although the smallest of seeds, it eventually grows into the greatest garden of plants, becoming a tree for birds to come and build their nests in its branches.” (Matthew 13:31-32/TPT)
I’m convinced humans are the atmospheric variable through which God writes. Scripture speaks of King David developing his city from the outside terraces inward. “David proceeded with a longer stride, a larger embrace since the God-of-the-Angel-Armies was with him.”
Jesus says, “Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” (John 7:38/TPT
Have an awesome week! 😃
